P. Douglas Combs - was the founder
of the Luscombe Foundation in 1992 when other type clubs declined to serve
that aircraft community with parts or support of that fleet. He is well
versed in the FAA certification processes and he has served as a
manufacturing production manager and chief inspector for more than 9 years.
Combs also brings a wealth of knowledge in the maintenance and restoration
of vintage airplanes which he has obtained from field experience and his
long associations with those persons who knew the vintage types when they
were new. Combs holds a variety of Certifications, ratings, and
authorizations from A&P and FAA Inspector Authorization to Airline
Transport Pilot and Certified Flight Instructor Airplane (specializing in
tail wheel and Luscombe aircraft). |

Donna Losey - (AKA Parts Angel) is
the friendly A&P and customer service person who served your needs at the Luscombe Foundation from 1995 until February 2003. Her knowledge of classic
airplanes, supply sources and documents to support your airplane is without
parallel. Donna knows engines and has an extensive history in that field as
well as in the source and procurement of rare and hard to locate materials
and components for her customers. She cannot find it all, but she is 98%
successful and committed to meeting your needs. |
